Activities Carried out:

Defining the scope, objectives, and criteria of the audit. Collecting and reviewing relevant documents, including environmental impact assessments, social impact assessments, permits, and compliance reports. Inspecting the project site to observe current practices and conditions, focusing on areas with potential environmental and social impacts. Conducting interviews with project staff, contractors, and local community members to gather information on environmental and social practices and concerns. Collecting data on various environmental and social parameters, such as water and air quality, waste management, biodiversity, health and safety practices, and community relations. Evaluating the project's compliance with applicable environmental and social regulations, standards, and commitments. Preparing a detailed audit report that includes findings, observations, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement. Sharing audit findings and recommendations with relevant stakeholders, including project authorities, regulators, and affected communities. Conducting a closing meeting with the auditee to present audit findings and agree on corrective actions.
